What Is Lounge Wi-Fi?

Lounge Wi-Fi is a feature that allows your Virtual Clients and Roaming Users to access Wi-Fi with a dedicated bandwidth service Virtual Clients and Roaming users will connect to WiFi Secure network as usual but their bandwidth will be controlled by the bandwidth allocation assigned to Lounge Wi-Fi.

Lounge Wi-Fi is not setup by default at your site. Please reach out to your customer success manager to find out more about Lounge Wi-Fi and how to set up Lounge Wi-Fi at your site.

Who Uses Lounge Wi-Fi?

If Lounge Wi-Fi is is set up at your site then all Virtual Clients and Roaming Users (T1 users from another site) will access the Lounge Wi-Fi bandwidth service automatically when they connect through WiFi Secure.

Why Use Lounge Wi-Fi Work?

Lounge Wi-Fi allows you to deliver a separate experience to your Virtual Clients and Roaming Users as the bandwidth service can be separated with your Guest Wi-Fi users. This can enhance the offering to Virtual Clients & Roaming Users.

How Do I Get Lounge Wi-Fi?

In order to setup Lounge Wi-Fi for your site you will need to raise a support case and specify the amount of dedicated bandwidth required on the Lounge Wi-Fi. Also please note that once setup any changes to the bandwidth service for Lounge Wi-Fi can only be modified by an essensys staff.
