If you are using both Operate and Platform, there are a few simple steps you need to take to ensure they are set up correctly. This ensures that the ‘Send to Platform’ function on Account records within Operate syncs new Accounts over to Platform, capturing the same account information in both systems i.e.., an equivalent Occupier and a Contract is created in Platform for every single Account is pushed from Operate.

Install the Integration

  • Go to Operate Settings > Integrations

  • Install Operate to Platform

Configure the Integration

Once your integration is installed, click the 'Open' button to continue.

The Operate to Platform Integration allows to configure Operate Location to the Platform Site and enable the “Send to Platform” feature for all Accounts linked to that specific Site/Location which is enabled. One to one mapping is enforced in this integration screen i.e., one Platform Site cannot be mapped to more one Operate Location.

Send to Platform

  • When all Settings are configured correctly, and the Account has a non-blank value saved for the Accounts Id field, you can use the ‘Send to Platform’ button found on the Account record in Operate.

  • An appropriate prompt message is presented to the Operate user based on the existing data in the Platform.

  • If the Occupier with the same Account name is not found in the Platform, the below prompt message is displayed. And on clicking on Yes, an equivalent Occupier and a Contract in the site requested is created in the Platform.

  • If the Occupier with the same Account name is found in the Platform, but no Contracts associated with that location the below prompt message is displayed. On clicking on Yes, a Contract in the site requested under the Occupier is created in Platform.

  • If both Occupier and Contract is found for the Site requested, the below prompt message is displayed.
